Excluding Owner.* and Autorun.* files from lock process
new in Lockngo Professional ver 2.20
Effective with version 2.20, Lockngo Professional has a new useful feature that enables the exclusion of specific files from the disk lock and hide process.
This new feature enables you to save a special file in the root of your removable drive with your personal information so that if the drive is found by anyone, it can be returned to you. The new version simply excludes this special file from being locked and hidden during disk lock. Disk autorun files (autorun.*) are also excluded from the lock process in the new version.
Here is how to use this feature:
- Create a file with your details (for example, you can write down your name, address, phone or any other information you wish to include in this file). This file can be of any type (textual, graphical, etc.). The size limitation for this file is 150 KB.
- Name this file 'owner.*' (depending on its type. For example: owner.txt, owner.doc, owner.gif ... You can use capital letters, small letters or any combination of the two).
- Lock your disk and watch how the file you just created does not get locked.
